Yubisaki Milk Tea Cross-Dressing Manga Ends in Japan
posted on by Egan Loo
Manga creator Tomochika Miyano has ended his Yubisaki Milk Tea manga in this year's sixth issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine on Friday. The love-triangle story centers around a boy who filled in for his older sister as a bridal gown model — only to discover that he likes cross-dressing. Miyano launched the manga in 2003, but it went on a hiatus of more than two years in 2007. The manga returned to Young Animal last year.
The eighth and ninth compiled book volumes shipped in Japan on October 29, and the 10th and final volume is slated for early summer. North American retailers are listing the release of Tokyopop's eighth volume on April 6.
The current issue of Young Animal has also announced that an "important announcement" will be made about Kiminori Wakasugi's Detroit Metal City manga in the next issue on March 26. Oshare Techō creator Kenichirō Nagao will launch Punk, his first Young Animal manga, in the next issue.
