Gunjō Yuri Manga to Resume in Ikki Mag in February
posted on by Egan Loo
The manga creator Ching Nakamura has confirmed that her Gunjō yuri drama story will resume in the April issue of Shogakukan's Ikki magazine on February 25 — after being suddenly removed from Kodansha' Morning 2 magazine last year. The manga began in Morning 2 in 2007 and ran for 13 installments.
After the manga's removal from Morning 2, Nakamura initially wrote in an October blog entry that she would self-publish the manga as a dōjinshi. Days later, she wrote that her plans had changed, and began discussing her correspondence with the editorial staff at Ikki.
Shogakukan will publish the first compiled book volume of the manga, with the first 10 installments and a side story, on February 25. The Ikki serialization will start from the 14th installment, so installments 11-13 will be posted online for a limited time.
