Bakemonogatari, xxxHOLiC Episodes' Releases Delayed

In spite of previous announcements, the premiere streaming of the next episode of the Bakemonogatari anime will be delayed again from the planned November 2 launch due to production snags. According to the official blog for the series, the production staff for the series were still editing the unaired "Tsubasa Cat - Part 3" episode and encoding it for online distribution as of the evening of November 2 at 10:20 p.m. Japan Standard Time (November 2 at 8:20 a.m. EST). This new delay comes after the staff had already announced that the next episode of the series would be pushed back from October 28. 
In another announced delay, the next original animation DVD (OAD) for the CLAMP manga series xxxHOLiC will be distributed with the limited first edition of the 17th manga volume. The OAD was originally scheduled to be included as an extra with the 16th manga volume, but the official site for the series has rescheduled the release to the following volume. The 17th manga volume with the OAD will retail for 4,800 yen. Fans in Japan can pre-order a copy of the volume until February 8, 2010.Del Rey publishes the xxxHOLiC manga in North America, while Funimation has released the first xxxHOLiC television series and film.
