Funimation to Host 'Virtual Con Panel' on Thursday

The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced that it will host a "virtual convention panel" on its blog on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. CDT. Funimation senior events manager Adam Sheehan notes that his company is not exhibiting at any physical convention this month, so it is instead hosting an online question-and-answer session with live blogging text and streaming video. The manga publisher Tokyopop started hosting a similar series of "webinars" in August.
