Ikki Manga Magazine Editor Hideki Egami Interviewed

The ICv2 retailer news source interviewed Hideki Egami, the editor of Shogakukan's Monthly Ikki magazine, during Comic-Con International last month. Egami visited San Diego to help promote SigIkki.com, Viz Media's English-language website with several manga titles imported from Ikki magazine. Egami discussesd Ikki's difference in philosophy from other magazines, the impact of anime adaptations, and the similarities with American alternative comics.
