Japanese Box Office, May 30-31

Rookies: Graduation (Rookies ~Sotsugyō-), Yūichirō Hirakawa's theatrical finale to his live-action television drama adaptation of Masanori Morita's Rookies baseball manga, opened at #1 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's Japanese box office chart during the May 30-31 weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned the equivalent of US$12,703,775 on 428 screens.
Meitantei Conan: Shikkoku no Chaser (Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser), the 13th film based on Gōshō Aoyama's popular shōnen manga about a brilliant detective trapped in a child's body, dropped from #5 to #9. It took in US$426,283 on 315 screens during its seventh weekend for a total of US$34,155,620.
Chris Nohan's live-action film remake of Production I.G's Blood: The Last Vampire anime film opened at #11 with US$347,960 on 240 screens.
Gekijōban Chō Kamen Rider Den-O & Decade Neo Generations Onigashima no Senkan, the bridge movie between three live-action special-effects projects (Kamen Rider Den-O, Kamen Rider Decade, and Chō Den-O), fell from #10 off the top 10 chart in its fifth weekend.
