Hangry & Angry's Hitomi Yoshizawa Attends Anime Expo
posted on by Egan Loo
Anime Expo has announced that the Japanese "power duo" Hangry & Angry will appear at the July 2-5 convention in Los Angeles — although the music distributor JapanFiles.com has since clarified that only Hangry, or Hitomi Yoshizawa, will attend the event. Hangry and the other half of the duo, Rika Ishikawa, were members of Hello Project's Morning Musume girl group before "graduating" with their own recording careers. Yoshizawa will be signing autographs after the Morning Musume concert at Anime Expo's Hello Project booth on Friday, July 3.
Yoshizawa played an fictional alter ego of herself in an episode of the Kirarin Revolution television anime series, and she played a hamster version of herself named "Yoshihamu" in the Tottoko Hamutarō: Ham Ham Ham - Jya! Maboroshi no Princess anime movie. Both halves of Hangry & Angry came to Washington state's Sakura-Con for their American debut concert in April.
