Viz Pictures, the live-action film affiliate of
Viz Media, has
announced on Wednesday that it will
open its
NEW PEOPLE Entertainment complex in San Francisco's Japantown neighborhood on August 15.
Viz Pictures has been
working on the new building for three and a half years, although its grand opening has been
delayed to the new August date. The building will feature a cinema with high-definition digital projection and THX-certified sound, a floor of clothing shops from Japan (including
Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, Black Peace Now, and 6% DOKIDOKI), a café, a delicatessen, a retail sore, and an art gallery.
