CMX Confirms King of Debris, Lapis Lazuli Crown, Broken Blade (Updated)
posted on by Mikhail Koulikov
North American imprint CMX Manga has confirmed at New York Comic Con (NYCC) on Saturday that it licensed Yūsuke Aso's King of Debris, Natsuna Kawase's Lapis Lazuli Crown, and Yunosuke Yoshinaga's Broken Blade (Break Blade) manga. CMX's Jim Chadwick hosted one of the last Saturday panels at NYCC.
King of Debris is a teen-oriented adventure story about an android boy who gets implanted with a powerful and destructive device. Lapis Lazuli Crown's main character is a young girl, from a family of magic-users, who is actually not at all interested in developing her own powers. The CMX website listed both of these titles as "coming soon," but this is the first time they have been formally announced. In addition, Broken Blade is a sci-fi story that marks CMX's first entrance into the giant robot/mecha combat genre. All three have already appeared in the listings of online retailers.
