Bandai Visual Moves While President is Named Chairman
posted on by Egan Loo
Japan's Bandai Namco Holdings announced on Wednesday that two of its subsidiaries, the Japanese anime distributor Bandai Visual and the online services company Bandai Networks, will be moving their offices to the southern Tokyo ward of Shinagawa. Much of Bandai Namco is already located in the East Shinagawa area. This represents a significant shift, since Bandai had maintained a massive presence in the central Tokyo ward of Taitō for decades until its recent merger with Namco. Bandai Networks has begun operations in the Shinagawa Seaside Tower on November 25, and Bandai Visual will begin on December 8. Bandai Namco's web mobile division is already located in the Tower.
Bandai Namco also announced that Bandai Visual President Ryohei Tsunoda will be made its president and chairman on January 1.
