Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! to Get Anime Next Summer
posted on by Egan Loo
Manga creator Bow Ditama has confirmed at France's Chibi Japan Expo this past weekend that his Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! science-fiction comedy manga will be animated for release in Japan in summer 2009. The story revolves around Puragu or Jūden-chan, a mysterious office lady (OL) who came to our world from a parallel world to "charge" up dejected people. Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! has been running in Wani Books' Monthly Comic Gum magazine since its January 2006 issue, and the fourth compiled volume was published in June. The current December issue of the magazine had revealed on October 26 that the next issue will have a big announcement for Jūden-chan in the next issue, which will ship on November 26.
Ditama previously drew the art for Bunjuro Nakayama's Mahoromatic manga and created the Kiss×sis manga. Mahoromatic spawned two television anime series and a special, while Kiss×sis is getting an anime DVD bundled with the next manga volume.
