posted on by Egan Loo
The official Japanese website for the anime adaptation of Hajime Segawa's The Enchained Spiritual Beast Ga-Rei manga series has begun streaming a 30-second television commercial on Monday. This "afterschool underground spirit-hunting action" story follows a boy named Kensuke Nimura who can see spirits. He helps a girl named Kagura — who happens to control a spiritual beast named Byakuei — in her hunt for supernatural creatures. Kagura is actually a member of a classified government agency in the Ministry of the Environment called the Supernatural Disaster Prevention Office, and she presses Kagura to join the agency. The Japanese broadcaster Chiba TV will premiere the anime on October 5.
