The official Japanese website of GeGeGe no Kitarō: Sennen Noroi Uta (GeGeGe no Kitarō : The Thousand-Year-Curse Song), the live-action film sequel based on Shigeru Mizuki's supernatural manga, posted the first full trailer this week. In the linked page, select the Enter button, and then select the fourth text button from the left at the bottom. The full trailer is available under the rightmost movie button, while the two other buttons have the earlier teaser trailers.
Eiji Wentz plays Kitaro, an inhuman boy who stands at the uneasy divide between humans and yōkai (supernatural creatures). The second movie deals with a forbidden love between a human man and a nure-onna (enchantress) that has lasted a millennium, and strange occurrences that happen in the present. The film will open in Japan on July 12. An animated Gegege no Kitarō television series is airing in Japan now, with a separate anime movie opening in Japan in December.
