1st Subbed Fist of the North Star Streamed for Free

The IGN entertainment website has posted the first episode of Toei Animation's original Fist of the North Star anime series with English subtitles for free. The anime adapts Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's manga about a man who metes out justice on a lawless, post-apocalyptic land. Toei Animation is offering the first 15 English-subtitled episodes of both Fist of the North Star and the Slam Dunk anime series for download on IGN's Direct2Drive service. (Slam Dunk's first subbed episode is still available for free streaming.) Viz Media and Gutsoon! Entertainment released part of the original Fist of the North Star manga, but neither completed the full run.
