The Japanese publisher Hakusensha announced that it will launch an "all-new, happy romance comic magazine" called Jossie for female readers on April 8. It will have a four-panel magical-girl manga called Magic Magic by Tamami Momose, whose Sensei no Ojikan manga became the Doki Doki School Hours anime. Other titles include (Fu)joshi no Tashinami from Ayumi Uno (Shiawase Sou no Okojo-san) and Debusupi! by Mari Hirai (Kasho no Tsuki). Hakusensha already publishes Hana to Yume, LaLa, Melody, and Silky, and several of its titles have been exported to Viz Media's Shojo Beat.
Fusosha is also starting a new monthly comic magazine called Malika for female readers on April 28. It will feature the Present manga (online sample) by Sakura Fujisue (Anoko to Issho) and an unnamed series from Erica Sakurazawa (Angel, Angel Nest).
