posted on by Egan Loo
The official website of the Japanese visual kei rock group Antic Cafe announced that the group will play a live concert at the FanimeCon 2008 convention in San Jose, California on May 25. (In the linked page, select the "LIVE" button at the top.) The convention itself has yet to make an announcement. Before it goes to America, Antic Cafe (or "An Café" for short) plans to tour ten cities in Europe in March, and ten cities in Japan in April and May.
Antic Cafe performed "Kakusei Heroism ~The Hero Without A Name~," the second opening theme song to the Darker than Black anime series. The group also performed "Ryūsei Rocket" ("Comet Rocket"), the opening theme to the live-action drama adaptation of Masami Kurumada's Fuuma no Kojirou manga. Since the group formed in 2003, it has released two regular albums, one mini-album, and over a dozen singles.
