Gundam 00 Previewed before 15,000 in 28 Japanese Areas

The animation company Sunrise and the broadcast network TBS/MBS screened "Celestial Being," the first episode of the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 science fiction television series, before 15,000 fans in 28 locations throughout Japan Saturday. The companies also revealed that the series will be split between the first season of 25 episodes that premieres on October 6, and another season that will air after a brief hiatus.
The Tokyo screenings featured appearances by the four male voices (Mamoru Miyano, Shinichirō Miki , Hiroyuki Yoshino, Hiroshi Kamiya) of the "Gundam Meister" pilots, four of the main voice actresses (Yōko Honna, Kei Shindō, Ayahi Takagaki, Ayumi Tsunematsu), the narrator Tohru Furuya (First Gundam story's Amuro Ray), director Seiji Mizushima, and two popular Japanese comedians (Teruyuki Tsuchida and Osamu Wakai). Tsuchida and Wakai are known in Japan for being Gundam fans before becoming comedians, and Wakai even cosplayed as Amuro Ray for the government.
