Japanese Anime DVD Ranking, April 4-10

Kanon, Dragon Ball top their debut week
While Kanon #4 takes the top spot as the previous volumes did, pent-up fan demand puts all three of the first Dragonball DVD singles in the top ten. Until this month, the only Dragon Ball DVDs ever sold in Japan were in a 26-disc DVD box that sold for 100,000 yen (US$830). After debuting at #1 three weeks ago, the third volume of the Sunrise-animated, CLAMP-designed Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion series stays on a chart that is otherwise full of new discs.
