New Anime Magazine Launches

Patrick Macias announced on his blog that he will be the editor in chief for the new bi monthly magazine devoted to anime, manga, and Japanese Pop Culture. Otaku USA Magazines website has a detailed preview of what to expect from the new publication. Each issue of OtakuUSA will be oversized 9 x 10 7/8, with a poster bound in the center spread. There will be a DVD inserted onto the front cover, with full- length Anime features and game demos. The typical issue of Otaku USA, which will have a cover price of $9.99 ($11.99 in Canada), will be at least 150 pages long and printed in full color on glossy paper. There's no word yet from Patrick on when the magazine will be released in North America.
