The Hollywood Reporter states "Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have been tapped to write the DreamWorks/Paramount live-action adaptation of The Transformers." Steven Spielberg will act as executive producer. Kutzman and Orci have done the scripts for the Goonies II, the Alias TV series, Legend of Zorro and Mission: Impossible 3.
