Tokyo Tribes Movie Licensed by MTV

Aiming for a 2006 Release
<cite class="e company"><a href="/encyclopedia/company.php?id=1147">MTV</a></cite> has licensed the anime adaptation of <cite class="e person"><a href="/encyclopedia/people.php?id=26812">Santa Inoue</a></cite>'s <cite class="e anime">Tokyo Tribes</cite>.<br>

The movie will be released in Japan in 2006 and they are looking to have it released in North America in 2006 as well. Details regarding the North American release, whether it will be a simultaneous release with Japan, if it will be a TV broadcast or released in theaters, are not available at this time.<br>

Inoue told <cite class="e company"><a href="/encyclopedia/company.php?id=24707">Anime Insider</a></cite> that he wants Dr. Dre to do the soundtrack.<br>
