Geneon to act as a distributor, not a licensor
ICv2 has researched some additional details regarding Geneon's distribution deal with Toei. Contrary to what was widely assumed, Geneon will be merely acting as a distributor for DVD titles that TOEI will produce for North American release.
In the past, when Geneon was named Pioneer, it distributed Bandai and Viz DVDs to North American retailers, its deal with Toei is very much the same.
