$100K Hello Kitty

Mainichi Daily News has a pair of pictures here(2) and here(2), of a 41mm-tall jewel encrusted "Queen Kitty" figurine created in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Hello Kitty. The figurine is worth 10.5-million yen. Last year a similar Astro Boy figurine worth 100-million yen was produced for his birthday.
