Tokyopop enters genre novel market

First releases: Slayers, Clamp School Case Files
Tokyopop has announced their plans for a new line of Japanese "lite novels." The books will be presented in an English-translated novel layout, but they will also feature original manga-style illustrations from the Japanese novels.
Rui Araizumi and Hajime Kanzaka's Slayers is first on the release list, along with Clamp School Case Files: Paranormal Investigators. The line will also debut with an original Anerican novel, D. J. Milky's Karma Club: Attack of the Green Goo.
All three lite novels will street on September 7th.
