Cartoon Network Profiled

While informative and unbiased, the article has an odd definition of Anime and Manga.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has posted an article titled "Anime Invasion: Cartoon Network will expand Asian animation lineup". The article includes coverage of anime on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, as well as the Anime phenomenon as a whole. Sean Atkins, the executive producer of Cartoon Network's Toonami, provides many statements about the background on anime as well as pointing out several stereotypes inherent in the medium.
Interestingly, the article's author refers to Anime as an "Asian animation style," and not as "Japanese Animation;" as well as defins Manga as "Asian comic books."
