Production I.G Talks about 2D / 3D Animation

Japan Today has an article about the 'strugle' between 2D and 3D animation in Anime. In addition to Production I.G's president, Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and other Production I.G employees, the article also quotes Hayao Miyazaki. Both Ishikawa and Miyazaki are firm believers that the essence of Japanese Anime remains in the pencil, and not 3D rendering.
