But no changes to the DVD release... yet
Japanese broadcasted AT-X has announced that the upcoming TV broadcast of the new Captain Harlock series, Endless Odyssey, has been cancelled. The 13 episode TV series was originally set to begin airing on June 27th.
Production issued were cited as the cause of the cancelation and there is currently no word on if or when the show will be rescheduled, however there has been no announcement (yet) regarding any changes to the home video release. While there has been no word of any changes to the home video release, VAP removed its Harlock website earlier today. Formerly at http://www.vap.co.jp/herlock/index.html, the website never sported anythingmore than a "coming soon" notice. Provided nothing changes, the first volume, "Hakidame no Blues" is set to be released on DVD on September 19th by VAP.
