Sam at www.saiyanz-rage.net has relayed a rumor stating that AOL Time Warner has indicated that if the anime community could get 10,000 signatures for a petition they would consider an anime channel. The petition can be seen at here

Saiyanz Rage has contacted the Cartoon Network in response to this unverified petition claim and received official word from the Time Warner owned Cartoon Network that, "big companies like AOL/Time Warner do not make decisions or business ventures based upon petitions. Particularly online petitions."
