After a long downtime, EX returned yesterday with their new format.
EX, "The Online World of Anime and Manga" is back. After a long downtime which began late last year, EX has returned with a new format.
"The old "issue" format was no longer working", explains Keith Rhee, design editor at EX, "Content that was finished and ready to go had to sit and wait while the rest of the issue was being put together, by which time some of the articles would lose their timeliness and relevance."
Starting with a variety of posts made yesterday, including several reviews and an interview with Mamoru Oshii, EX should be updated on an "as they come" (referring to the articles and news items) basis from now on.
Starting with volume 1, issue 1 in 1996, EX which was founded by Charles McCarter and Keith Rhee, became one of the most respected online sources of Anime news, articles and reviews during its initial four year run.
