Rumor: Vandread Licensed?

13-Episode TV series created by Gonzo rumored to be acquired by Media Blasters...

Vandread's creators, Gonzo, have contacted several fansubtitling groups (on IRC and on webpages) to inform them that Media Blasters has acquired this title from them.
At press time, the digital distribution group Elite Fansubs has has not made any public comment on this matter. E-F distributed the entire first season of Vandread digitally through usenet and fansub FTPs.
When Anime News Network called Media Blasters, we recieved "No Comment" in regards to the licensing status of Vandread. However, it is believed a more definitive answer will be coming next week.
