Yorito Shiraishi Interview

the Anime Web Turnpike has an interview with Yorito Shiraishi, who is the Editor in chief of Newtype Magazine.
Newtype is quite possibly the #1 Anime/Manga magazine around the world. The interview focuses on Newtype's English language < a href="http://www.Newtype-net.com/">website which is now running it's August issue.
The english Newtype website is radically different from teh Japanese website in style and content, "The Japanese site predominantly consists of text content, with an emphasis on delivering new information as promptly as possible, the Japanese site is updated daily." States Mr. Shiraishi, "On the other hand, we are trying to make the English site very visual. we would like to release it [Newtype English website] within 2 to 3 weeks after the actual release date of Newtype magazine in Japan. "
The August website features articles on the new Anime TV series "Gate Keepers" and the new "Gundam" series 'For The Barrel'. Other features include some more details about the upcoming Oh My Goddess! movie as well as a "How to draw Anim" tutorial with Yoshitoshi ABe, co-creator and artist of NieA_7 and Lain.
