PuraOre! Pride of Orange Girls' Hockey Anime Featured in Local Newspaper

The hockey idol television anime PuraOre! Pride of Orange appeared in a full page ad in the Shimotsuke Shimbun newspaper. "Shimotsuke" is the former name for the area that is now called Tochigi prefecture, where the PuraOre! Pride of Orange is set. The official Twitter account for the Nikko city-based IceBucks hockey club shared the ad on Twitter on Tuesday.

The IceBucks manager and the head of the team's promotion division participated in a presentation about the series' development on December 11, 2020. Manager Eiji Tsuchida said, "The team sees this project as an opportunity, and hopes that the appeal of ice hockey will be conveyed to as many people as possible."
CyberAgent's CAAnimation label and DMM Games' multimedia project PuraOre! Pride of Orange bills itself as "The first girls' ice hockey anime ever." The series premiered on October 6 and Funimation is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
