Cowboy Bebop Characters Reunite for Animate Cafe Collab
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
It's been 20 year since Spike and the Swordfish II flew through the stars in Shinichiro Watanabe's Cowboy Bebop television anime, and with the exception of an appearance in Ready Player One, we haven't seen much of the Bebop crew since.
The Goodsmile Animate Cafe is switching it up and giving Cowboy Bebop the credit it's due. Starting on May 15, the cafe's Akihabara and Osaka locations will host series themed menus and limited edition goods. Animate Cafe hasn't revealed exact contents of the menu and goods yet.
Cowboy Bebop's character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto drew the new promotional illustration for the cafe.
Cowboy Bebop is a music-centric space noir series that follows Spike and his rag-tag crew of bounty hunters as they travel from planet to planet in search of a quick buck and an escape from their traumatic pasts. The series has run on Toonami several times since the block's revival in 2012, most recently last year.
