Real-Life Hentai Kamen Spotted in Tokyo

A woman in Tokyo spotted a real-life Hentai Kamen — a superhero who gains his powers from wearing panties over his head — on the streets on November 24. But while Hentai Kamen is a hero in a comedy manga, the woman was evidently not amused by the man's behavior and alerted the police.
The incident occurred at 12:20 AM in Wada 1-chōme, Suginami Ward. The man was wearing briefs over his head, a long-sleeved black shirt, and black jeans with his penis exposed. The woman described him as about 170 cm (5'7'') tall, in his 20s, and very thin. He was standing motionless and wordless. She called 110 (the police hotline), and the police are currently searching for him.
The tale of the fictional Hentai Kamen has been adapted into two live-action films. Keishuu Andou, the manga's creator, also published a one-shot chapter on the Shonen Jump+ website in May which explains how he created the hero. No word, of course, on whether the mysterious street flasher was inspired by this.
