Watch Splatoon's Squid Sisters Serenade the Crowd at Japan Expo 2016

Callie and Marie, the idol and news host duo of Splatoon known as the "Squid Sisters," perform live as holographic idols in a manner familiar to Hatsune Miku fans. Their high-pitched gibberish, friendly banter and dynamic backing band got the crowd going at the Japan Expo in Paris on July 8.
If you're curious what a Squid Sisters rehearsal sounds like, Nintendo posted that too, while introducing us to the cousins' band members.
The serenading cephalopods have amassed their own fan following, plushies and fan art.
