According to the anime's official Twitter, Gudetama—the apathetic little egg yolk—is being featured alongside bird versions of two of the manga's protagonists Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama. The images depict Gudetama and Shoyo in a nest wondering if they can fly, Gudetama and Tobio atop a crown, and poor Gudetama being smacked by a volleyball. The tweet itself states that we will have to wait to hear about the products these cute images will be featured on.

The collaboration was teased back on May 17 along with an image of Gudetama and Shoyo trying to fly. The tweet also states that 7-Eleven may be involved.
Gudetama's more recent publicity appearances include animated shorts released for Thanksgiving and a Japanese Okonomiyaki chain restaurant featuring his perpetually depressed face on their dishes.
