Attack on Titan's Schick Razor Campaign Unveils Videos
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Energizer company Schick-Wilkinson Sword began a collaboration on Monday in Japan with its Schick brand of men's shaving razors and Hajime Isayama's Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) manga and anime adaptation. Limited quantities of the products shipped on Monday to Japanese grocery stores, drug stores, and other establishments.
The website for the campaign is streaming promotional videos for the campaign:
-
Eren: You need to enter my Shaving Brigade, and shave the facial hair of the Titans!
Man: There's no way you can shave them!
Eren: You can. You know that Titans just want a fresh shave too, right!?
Man: Even if you go, that number is just...
Mikasa: I can shave them. I can. I can give those Titans a good shave.
Man: Hey!
Commander: Shaving Brigade! Show me your fresh shaving skills!
Erwin: We will now start the ninth fresh shave strategy! Forward!
In the second video titled, "A New Brigade," Eren is told that it would be impossible to shave a Titan, and especially impossible to give it smooth skin while doing so. However, Eren insists that it is possible to do so, despite the Titans having large jaws and thick hair. He also adds that they have shaving cream on their side.
Some of the products included in the collaboration will come bundled with one of six types of super-deformed "Chimi Chara" figures.
The company is also offering Schick Hydro 5 razors bundled with a stand featuring a figure of either Levi or Mikasa in action.
In addition, on some products, the company will bundle a QR code to unlock one of seven original photo frames on the series official Smartphone app, "AR Kyojin Camera."
