Valvrave's Prue Sings Salmon Fillet Mascot Theme Song
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Sanrio debuted the theme song for its salmon fillet popstar mascot, Kirimi-chan. The song "Kirimi no Uta ~ Oishiku Tabete ne ♡~" (Kirimi's Song ~Delicious Eating) began streaming on Monday and is sung by voice actor Tsubasa Yonaga, the voice of Valvrave the Liberator's Prue and Yowamushi Pedal's Sangaku Manami. The song is, of course, all about food and possibly eating Kirimi as a side dish.
Use the lyrics below to sing along.

Kirimi-chan merchandise hit Sanrio stores in February and includes her pals, Tai-kun and Saba-kun, who are sea bream and mackerel fillets. According to Sanrio's website, Kirimi-chan is not only a pop star, but is also acutely aware of how delicious she is.
This new character is the result of a public online poll introduced by Sanrio last year, which included other Japanese food options, including happy sausages, alpacas dressed as food, zoo animals with mushrooms on their heads, onigiri puppies, sentient egg yolks and more. For those who are curious, the full results of the poll can be seen here.
