Kinnikuman & Funabashi City's Unofficial Pear-Fairy Mascot Get T-Shirt

The weird, unofficial pear-fairy mascot of Funabashi City, Chiba is back with a t-shirt collaboration with the equally strange Kinnikuman. The "Hustle Heroes" t-shirt features Funasshi, a character inspired by the area's major fruit export.
Customers can reserve a t-shirt until April 24 and they're expected to ship by the end of the month.
Funasshi is very popular despite its unofficial status. It was voted the top mascot in the Regional Mascot General Election in August, got its own manga series in Shogakukan's Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic Special, and got her own theme song released by Universal Music Japan.
