Daisuke Ono Gets Wild in Shiina's Wildlife Encyclopedia Drama CD

Popular voice actors Daisuke Ono and Jun Fukuyama will lend their voices for an upcoming drama CD adaptation of Shiya Tootsuki's Shiina-kun no Torikemo Hyakka (Shiina's Wildlife Encyclopedia). Ono will star as Shiina and Fukuyama will star as Chitose. The CD will adapt an original short story and will ship with the fifth manga volume slated for release on March 14.
The manga follows a group of young college students studying to become zoologists. Ryo Shiina (Daisuke Ono) is a surly assistant professor who trains future zoologists. He always dreamed of being zoology professor since he was young. Chitose (Jun Fukuyama) is Shiina's childhood friend and an assistant professor in the Biology department who is always accompanied by African penguins. The manga follows Professor Shiina's day-to-day activities at the university and studying animals.
