Autographed Madoka Magica: Rebellion Script Auctions for $18k (Updated)

A Japanese auction for an autographed copy of the script for Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion- recently ended at a final price of 1,800,000 yen ($18,061).

The script is signed by Aoi Yūki, Chiwa Saitō, Ai Nonaka, Emiri Katō, Eri Kitamura, and Kaori Mizuhashi. It was won in a magazine sweepstakes.

Previously, a film strip from the first Madoka film auctioned for $13,600, while earlier this week, a film strip from the third movie auctioned for $1,321.

Update: The auction was cancelled by the seller after it ended, for unspecified reasons. There was criticism online that the seller was auctioning off a sweepstakes prize, but there is no indication that is the reason behind the cancellation. [Via Nijimen.net]
