SMAP's song "Hello" to be Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Song

Sanrio is gearing up for Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary in 2014 and they've chosen an official song—SMAP's new song, "Hello." The song was written and composed by creepyhyp's Ozaki Sekaikan.
The song will be used in Sanrio's program "FOR YOU ~Tsutaetai Arigato~" on Fuji TV, as well as Sanrio's TV CMs.
Sanrio will reveal more details about the 40th anniversary as they become available, but they've already announced a theme—"Arigato Hug You ♡"
Speaking of SMAP and Hello Kitty... in almost completely-unrelated news, it turns out that a few years back, SMAP did a set... with DJ Hello Kitty! Blessedly, someone uploaded a video of the event.
