posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Warner Brothers posted the following live-action teaser video for "Get Goal," the opening theme song for the second television anime season of Sagu Aoyama's Ro-Kyu-Bu! light novel series. In the video, the Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS voice actresses Kana Hanazawa (Tomoka), Yuka Iguchi (Maho), Yōko Hikasa (Saki), Rina Hidaka (Airi), and Yui Ogura (Hinata) act as their characters and sing the song.
Together, they train on a beach, and visit a shrine for good luck in their upcoming training camp. Shizuka Itou also plays her character Mihoshi, who says over the phone that the team's next match might be their last.
A similar teaser was made for the first season of the anime.
The cast from the previous season will be returning, with the additions of Misaki Kuno as Mimi Balgerry, Minami Tsuda as Tsubaki Takenaka, Risa Taneda as Masami Fujii, and Asami Seto as Kagetsu Hakamada.
The story centers around a high school freshman boy named Subaru Hasegawa (Yūki Kaji) who joined the basketball team, but the team stopped playing due to the captain being suspected of being a lolicon. Subaru somehow ends up as a coach of an elementary school's basketball team with five girls.
Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS will premiere on Japanese television on July 7. The CD single for "Get Goal" and the ending theme song "Rolling! Rolling!" will then follow on July 10. The limited first edition of the single will include a DVD with the "Get Goal" music video.
