5pb.'s Nyarko-san PS Vita Game Promo Streamed
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Game developer 5pb. began streaming a promotional video for the Nyaruko-san Nafushigatai Game no Yōna Mono PlayStation Vita game this week.
The game will continue the "high-tension chaos comedy" from the Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos (Haiyore! Nyaruko-san) anime. Players control the protagonist Mahiro Yasaka during events set in the anime's first season. The game's development team also worked on a number of original scenarios for players to choose from, as well as story episodes from the original light novel series that were not animated.
The game will be sold in a limited-edition "Shining Trapazohedoron Box" and a standard edition on May 30. The box retails for 8,190 yen (about US$83) and includes the game soundtrack, a night-gaunt case for plastic bottles, a special card for the tie-in app, and a special Haiyore! Nyaruko-san: The Chaos card. Pre-orders of the box will also come with a download code for a video of the cast playing a board game inspired by the story. The standard edition retail for 6,090 yen (US$62).
The anime studio Xebec's adaptation of Manta Aisora's Haiyore! Nyaruko-san comedy light novel series premiered last year and ran for a 12-episode season. The story follows Nyarko, an anthropomorphization of H.P. Lovecraft's Crawling Chaos deity Nyarlathotep into a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl. A second season, Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos W premiered this month, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
