Vividred Operation PS3 Game Green-Lit
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
The April issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine is announcing on Friday that a Vividred Operation game for the PlayStation 3 has been green-lit. Namco Bandai Games is developing the game, and Kensuke Tsukanaka, producer for Time & Eternity (Tokitowa) and Project X Zone, is producing the game. The magazine confirms that the game will feature character Akane Isshiki.
The Vividred Operation television anime series began airing in Japan in January. The story is set in a peaceful time on a dreamlike world entirely made possible by science. Five years ago, the world's energy crisis was solved with the creation of the "Manifestation Engine." Akane is a 14-year-old girl who lives an impoverished but happy life with her little sister and grandfather. However the tranquil daily life that Akane enjoys is shattered by a threat, and she vows to face it in the red battle suit that wields immense power. Kazuhiro Takamura (Strike Witches) is handling the direction and character designs for the series.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in multiple countries outside of Japan.
