Idolm@ster 'Museums' Open in 3 Locations Across Japan
posted on by Karen Ressler
Building on the success of last year's “Idolm@ster Museum” opening at Namco's arcade branch in Nihonbashi, Osaka, two additional exhibits based on the popular Idolm@ster video game series have opened at the Namco arcade locations in Nakano, Tokyo and Hakata, Fukuoka.
The Idolm@ster Museum events feature chances to win exclusive Idolm@ster merchandise, an exhibit featuring art from the game, limited-edition products for sale, and a photo spot that changes each month to match Idolm@ster characters' birthdays. In addition, to celebrate the start of the event, a singing contest known as the “Idolm@ster Music Festa” will be held until March 31.
The Namco arcade locations in Nihonbashi and Hakata are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. The Nakano location is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 a.m. Admission is free. The event will run until December 31.
