Azumi/Piano Forest actress, band leader announce Friday marriage
The agencies of 27-year-old actress Aya Ueto (Azumi, 2009 Astro Boy's title character, The Piano Forest) and Hiro, the 43-year-old leader of the band EXILE (Black Jack, Black Jack 21), announced on Friday that the two had gotten married. Friday happens to be Ueto's birthday. The plans for a wedding ceremony and reception are still undecided, and there are no plans for a media interview.
In January, the couple's agencies had denied a Sankei Sports newspaper report that said that they would marry this past spring.
