Atlus USA began streaming character move videos for Labrys, Shadow Labrys, and Elizabeth for the Persona 4 Arena fighting video game on Tuesday. Atlus is releasing the game in Japan on Thursday on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and Atlus USA will release the game in North America on August 7.
Atlus USA also streamed a behind-the-scenes video with voice actor Yuri Lowenthal, the voice of Yosuke Hanamura, as he records dialogue for the game.
The game, titled Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena in Japan, is a 2D-animated fighting game using characters from the Persona 3 and Persona 4 role-playing games. The game was originally released in Japanese arcades this past winter.
Atlus USA announced earlier this month that the PlayStation 3 version of the game will be region-locked. Atlus USA's version of the game will work in North and South American regions. However, the game's online functionality will not be region-locked, allowing players to play against other players worldwide. The North American release will also include "both the original Japanese voice work and an all-new English audio track, a feature easily toggled in the settings for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 system releases."
