Doraemon's 'Dokodemo Door' Recreated in Yamanashi Prefecture

Moeginomura tourist destination staffers raised 'Just Here Door' in parking lot
A replica of the "Dokodemo Door" (Anywhere Door) from the Doraemon manga and anime was created in Yamanashi Prefecture's Takane town. The pink door appeared in the Moeginomura tourist facility's parking lot on January 31.
The wooden door is about 180 centimeters (6 feet) tall and 80 centimeters (2 feet and 8 inches) wide. Two Moeginomura staff members had the door built at a local renovation store and painted it.
One staff member came up with the idea and thought it would be amusing to recreate Doraemon's gadget in the snow. Because the door actually leads nowhere, he has been calling it the "Kokodemo Door" (Just Here Door).
