RPG now available in Japan, upcoming American release January 31
Square Enix began streaming a 3-minute trailer for the Final Fantasy XIII-2 sequel role-playing game on Tuesday. The trailer includes English-subtitled battle scenes with the characters Serah, Noel, Lightning, and Caius. The video also highlights Serah's special bow Azrael, an exclusive weapon that will be available for download on January 31. It will cost 80 Microsoft Points on the XBox Live service.
In its first week, Final Fantasy XIII-2 sold 524,217 copies in Japan after its December 15 release. Square Enix will release the game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America and Asia on January 31, and Europe will receive the game on February 3.
